SANAA celebrates in 2015 twenty years since its creation. The current publication collects the most significant works by this office from 2011 to the present. The monograph is prefaced by an interview with Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa by Inmaculada Maluenda y Enqrique Encabo and three critical essays on their work by the professors Mark Wigley, Beatriz Colomina y Federico Soriano Among the buildings and projects featured, the most remarkable ones are the Louvre-Lens, Shakujii Apartments, Junko Fukutake Hall, Shibaura House, Nishinoyama House, Yoshida Printing Headquarters, Nakamachi Terrace Community Center and Library, Garden & House and Terasaki House. “We like to work in spaces where people can be together and understand and respect the differences. The job of an architect now is to understand and appreciate that diversity and to create spaces where those differences can coexist” (Kazuyo Sejima)
