Come and visit visualMANIAC at the London Art Book Fair

September 12, 2013

Artists who make books. Books that are not limited to being "just" the worthy companions of past exhibitions. Books as long-lasting exhibitions. Limited editions. Out of print books. Books that cannot be found everywhere but are needed anywhere. Sold out books. Books so perfect that should reach all corners of the world. Books on paper. Digital Books. Books. At visualMANIAC we could not celebrate in a more forceful manner our unconditional love for books that by offering the digital version of out of print titles from our favourite publishers. So we have packed up and come to London, where we will be exhibiting at the London Art Book Fair at the Whitechapel Gallery this second weekend of September.

We will be surrounded by more than 60 publishing projects that break their backs everyday in order to produce the best art books and magazines. Art ReviewFuel Publishing, Trolley Books, Thames & Hudson, Film and Video UmbrellaArt Monthly and Phaidon are just some of the names that will fill the Whitechapel Gallery's two floors this weekend. Furthermore, the LABF team has done a fantastic job for the fifth year in a row (we can vouch for the last two editions) by organizing a program of lectures and workshops with reknowned artists like Tacita Dean (we saw her at Art Libris Art Book Fair at Barcelona), Luc Tuymans or Cornelia Parker (all events free and all, of course, sold out).

If you are lucky enough to be in London this weekend, you have no excuse not to go to the London Art Book Fair, which opens this afternoon at 6.00 pm and will be from Friday to Sunday 11.00-6.00 pm. We bring surprises and gifts with us. And we want to meet you in the flesh. If you can't drop by but still want to enjoy the same advantages as the fair attendants, just subscribe to our newsletter and you'll get a special gift code (if you come to the London Art Book Fair, don't leave without checking the second floor: best things always come at the end). And don't you forget: Love print. Couldn't live without digital.
