LITTLE PRINTER: the paper will remain

There is little left to say about Little Printer, this great and tiny printer developed by BERG that has become in the last few weeks a true mass phenomenon. We couldn’t expect less from this London-based studio and its team of inventors, determined to change the present for the future before we have time to notice it.
Little Printer, which fits in the palm of your hand, uses thermal paper, similar to a shopping receipt, to print the latest headlines, the highlights from the social networks, a daily crossword or the to-do list. BERG adds a friendly face to the intangible so you can keep it in your wallet or staple it next to the latest picture of your cat. The studio will launch a beta version of its star product in 2012 and is looking for new services and publications providers for Little Printer.

This tiny printer is also the presentation of BERG Cloud, a new technology that communicates and controls wireless devices at home, although it could also be introduced in office buildings and even factories. This service, of which not many details have been given, is described by its inventors as a nervous system for connected products, for communicating vessels.

Heartless machines are history. Let’s welcome Little Printer as another member of the family.
