DENTSU LONDON: Making Future Magic

Dentsu London is an interactive communications agency willing to “make future magic”. No more and no less. And the truth is that, for now, they are on the right track: we could play on and on again their video-sculptures of bright paint droplets, which slowly move to the rhythm of sound waves. We also wouldn’t mind trying their green neon laser –developed with the Madrid-based studio Sensaa– to make drawings that appear and disappear on buildings and boring surfaces.

In addition, these Londoners have invented a way to paint with light using an iPhone or iPad and they are trying to find a gap in the market for Suwappu, a parallel world where eight small animals enter an augmented reality. A pyromaniac badger, who can’t help burning cardboard with its eyes, is helped by a deer, a tuna and a sceptic fox in this project that understands communication as a combination of innovation, craftsmanship and technology.
